Available Options

This piano is commonly sold in either a red mahogany a pitch-black option. They have the same features on board. Sounds

The great thing about these songs is that they vary according to the experience of the player. They range from easy, medium and hard. The sounds largely divide into Rock Blues, Rock and Etudes. You have a total of 50 of these. 

Connectivity

There are 5 sets of connections on the rear end of this piano. These include the USB to host port. This is the one that you would use if you wanted to connect your piano to a midi device or to a computer. It would give you the ability to transfer music from the piano to your computer and vice versa. You also have the pedal connection port. This one allows you to have additional pedals on your piano. 

For input, you have the two audio cables. They have auxiliary capabilities. The output options look similar to the input ones. They are RCA jacks. You have a Left and Right output channel. Together they produce a stereo sound. You can use them to connect to your mp3 player or iPod. Individually, they produce mono sounds. 

The last input is probably the most important one. It is the power input. 

Effects

There are a lot of effects on this piano. We will go through them one by one. The first one is the split mode. This is a mode that allows you to split your piano into two distinct selections. You can alter the volume of either side of the split. The octave can also be adjusted. There is also a duet mode. In this mode, you would use the right pedal as a sustain for the right-hand side of the piano. The left pedal will be used as a sustain for the left-hand side of the piano. While these pedals are split, the middle one would be disabled. One of the main uses of this mode is for piano tutors to partner with their students. There is also a duet mode. 

You also have access to the global tuning mode. This is easily engaged by pressing the function button. 

For sound manipulation, you can make use of the reverb and the chorus effects. These can be applied to each voice that you can use. How does one tell when the effect has been engaged? Well, there is a light on the device. You would also be able to tell the difference in the sound that is produced. There are 8 types of reverbs that are preset on this piano. These are designed to mirror the room in which you are playing or are trying to emulate. They are R1 to R8. They range from the hall, room, stage and plate. You can also tune the depth of the reverb by holding the reverb button. Using the value dial will allow you to tune between 0-127. 

The chorus effect provides a shimmering movement to the sound of a voice that you engage it on. You can make subtle changes to this and can also push it to the extreme. The chorus type can be changed These changes will be shown on the display screen. There are 8 chorus types that you can switch to. You can also switch the depth all the way up to 127. 

The other effects are rotary speed mode and the vibrato speed. There is also an EQ Treble Level Setting.    

Warranty

Every Williams digital piano is warranted by Williams Pianos to the original purchaser for one (1) year from the date of original purchase. Defects covered under warranty include any electronic or structural defects. There are limitations and exclusions that you will need to take note of so that you are not left out in the cold. The manufacturing company states that the components of the piano are made with great care, and with normal use, the digital piano should serve you well. However, if there is any abuse or misuse of the digital piano, you stand to lose your one year warranty.
