That was one of my favorite features too, and was partially part of the reason it took me so long to start using streaming services. It definitely took some convincing to make me a convert. 

But ya, if you have access to WiFi, your “crappy data plan” really shouldn’t be a problem. My data plan’s nothing fancy either but you can easily get by downloading over WiFi.

That’s downloadable content is pretty cool. I have a pretty crappy data plan, so if I could just download some songs and then flush them out with new ones every week, it would at least feel like I have a good data plan.

If you haven’t found a pair of earbuds that don’t stop falling out I would recommend just going with a pair of over-ear or on-ear headphones. That is, unless you want to use the type of earbuds that used to come with iPods. Remember the ones that don’t have the rubber pieces that go inside of your ear? Those ones don’t sound nearly as good but I never really had a problem with them falling out of my ears. Here are some other reviews for quality over-ear headphones that you would enjoy.
