You’ve added both to your cart. At checkout one has to go! Which one would it be? We know your pain. Wireless earbuds have all but taken over from their wired counterparts worldwide. We found that traditional earphones have fewer advantages than a pair of Airpods or Earpods.

The mobility, intelligence, and straight-up style. These products have swayed us to the Bluetooth side. The question now is that since so many manufacturers have entered the market, what is an excellent option to pick for you?

These products’ unique capabilities have somewhat justified the high price you will pay to buy a pair. This makes it even more critical that the team that you choose is the perfect one. Nobody wants to waste money on something that they do not enjoy because it is not suited to them.

This will look at two of the top earbuds—one pair designed by Sony and the other designed by Apple. By the end of the article, you will have some idea of the best option.

Airpods Pro

These are Apple’s deluxe and the latest model of earbuds available to the public. These are an improved version of the original pioneers in this Department known as the Air pods. They have been designed to provide you with active noise cancellation.

This means that the noise cancellation is fully adaptable and moves around with you and the environment you find yourself in. With this, they can therefore give you immersive sound and let you get stuck into something.

This makes it great for people who wish to work in noisy places or out in the park. The transparency mode Apple has added works very well to provide the consumer with the ability to monitor their surroundings.

This makes it perfectly useful when going for jogs because you will listen to the sound that you cannot hear from a car. To fully secure the airports in your ear, they come with three sizes of silicone tips. This means that you can choose the one that perfectly gets into your ear.

They have been designed to be sweat and water-resistant, making them an excellent option for people who sometimes cycle or walk home in rainy conditions.

The sound quality is fantastic as it comes with an adaptive EQ that adjusts the air pod’s good quality to allow the song to come out as it was designed. It is simple to connect and offers the user a wireless charging case that increases the battery life to up to 24 hours.

Pros

  • Adaptive noise cancellation
  • 24-hour battery life with the charging case
  • Sweat and water-resistant.

Cons

  • Without the case, they can only offer four and a half hours of battery life

Sony WF 1000XM3

This is an excellent option to consider for people looking for soundproof earbuds. Sony has designed this to be an enjoyable sound experience for the user. It comes with digital noise canceling, which means you will be actively able to zone into your thoughts and music as you listen to it with these earbuds.

The audio signal processing is superior to many products on the market, offering 24-bit audio. The battery life of this product with the carrying case goes a full day in most instances. Although its battery without the carrying case is not very high, it only takes 10 minutes to charge for you to receive over 90 minutes of extra playing time.

This means that you do not have to worry if they do run out because you will be up and running in no time. You can use this product for business calls or personal just at the touch of the earbud. Sony has also included Alexa, meaning that you can voice activate an artificial intelligence for information or music at any point in time.

This is quite handy as it moves away from being just a music player to a smart home device. You will be able to notice the high-quality improvement in the sound you hear from these earbuds. This is because of the intelligent listening sound control mechanisms that work to adapt your ears’ sound.

Pros

  • Up to 24 hours battery with the case
  • Smart sound control
  • 24bit audio signal processing

Cons

  • One size fits all design.

Favorite Features

Battery Life

How long these earbuds last will affect the quality of time you can enjoy listening to music from them. Between these two products, the superior battery life comes on the Sony option. This is because it has been designed to offer 6.5 hours on a single charge.

This is further improved by the fact that when the 6.5 hours are depleted, you only need to charge it for 10 minutes to play for 90 more. Apple’s air pods can only do 4.5 hours on a single charge. Both carrying cases can give you 24 hours listing time.

Sound Quality

Sony has 24-bit audio signal processing that outperforms Apple’s actual motion driver. They both, however, have an adaptive sound which means that you will be able to hear Immaculate sound quality.

Durability

Apple is the sportiest product offering a sweat and water-resistant product. The Apple air pods provide various sizes of fit, meaning that it is unlikely of them falling out of your ear. The case is also made from a durable carbon fiber material.

What could be better?

Air pods Pro

The battery life on this product is not impressive at all. 4.5 hours on a single charge is not enough for people who want to watch movies the whole day.

Sony 1000XM3

The one size fits all approach to these earphones makes it challenging to use them in sporting environments. This is because they are maybe not as secure as they could have been within your ear.

Similar Features

Both products come with a wireless charging case that offers additional battery support.

Key Differences

The difference between these products is the sound quality and durability that the two offer the user. Although it is less versatile, Sony has better sound quality, meaning it struggles to fit into the ear better. Apple sweat and water-resistant earbuds while Sony do not.

The Verdict

If you are not very active but are looking to improve your current earphones. I would recommend purchasing these Sony WF 1000xm3. They are not as secure as the air pods are because they come with a one-design fits all approach.

This means they are more comfortable for you to sit around the house and watch movies with. The Apple air pods are a bitter option for people who want to go running and exercising. It comes with adaptive sound and is sweat and water-resistant. You will be able to enjoy active noise cancellation on your runs. Meaning you can focus on your exercise program.

Bose 700 vs Sony 1000xm3 | Which Headphones To Choose https://sonic-elevation.com/bose-700-vs-sony-1000xm3/ https://sonic-elevation.com/bose-700-vs-sony-1000xm3/#respond Fri, 07 May 2021 15:24:38 +0000 https://sonic-elevation.com/?p=13709 How does one decide between the Bose 700 vs Sony 1000xm3? If you are on the market looking for a new pair of headphones, you will most likely have come across two of these two. In today’s article, we will be comparing them to discover which one is the better option for consumers.

We shall give an in-depth review of both products looking at what challenges and strengths they both possess. At the end of the article, we hope that you will decide which is the better pair of headphones for yourself. Let us begin.

Bose 700

These are noise-canceling headphones that offer the user a wide variety of options to enjoy music. They come with a very detailed sound that gives you a surround sound bass allowing you to maximize every moment when listening.

They have managed to design an excellent voice pickup system that works to separate background noise from the sound of your voice. This makes it an ideal option to consider for people who need to record sounds, for example, a radio host.

They have been built to have access to intelligent artificial intelligence options. You will be able to speak to Alexa and Google on the go quickly. Everyday activities become a bit simpler when you have simple access to navigation, weather, and music. The durability and design of the product were made to rival world-class headphones.

They are made from a stainless-steel material that has not compromised on the weight of the product. They have been designed with rubber ear cups that easily tilt the product for better comfort. This means that they are most likely to bend in the event of being stretched rather than breaking.

This makes them a very great option to consider for people who wish to perform sports in peace. You will be receiving up to 20 hours of battery life when you use this product non-stop. This is all on a single charge, which will take you about two hours to get to.

Another exciting feature that the manufacturers have included in this product is the one-touch option. Simply tapping the headphones on the touch side of the headband will open Spotify and give you access to an entire database of online music.

Pros

  • Excellent noise-canceling features.
  • 20 Hour battery life
  • Surround sound bass

Cons

  • Long charging time

Sony WH-1000xm3

This pair of headphones offers digital noise canceling, which means that you could fully adjust the amount of background information you wish to receive. If you so require, you can turn these headphones into being fully soundproof.

This is an excellent option for people who want to perform music in the studio. This is because you will not get any unnecessary background noise giving you a clear and detailed recorded sound. This also works very well as you will be able to take phone calls through a touch-activated mechanism.

The Voice Assistant can access Alexa, meaning that you can have information available to you from the Internet through voice access. They have designed it so that it is pretty handy to use in the Gov and the workplace.

With the quick attention mode feature, you should completely turn down the volume instantly by simply covering the right ear cup. This means that if you need to have a conversation, you can quickly turn down your music without wasting too much time.

This pair of headphones is controlled via touch, and this allows you to use them quickly when playing sports or going for a jog. This is because you will not necessarily need to access your mobile device to change music.

The weight of the product is also quite impressive, making it a superb option to exercise with. The battery life on this product is awe-inspiring, boasting up to 30 hours of playtime on just one charge.

Pros

  • 30 hours of battery life
  • Digital noise-canceling features.
  • Controlled via touch.

Cons

  • Relatively expensive

Favorite Features

Battery Life

The battery life on a pair of headphones is essential because it determines how long you can listen to music. This is even more important if you are heading out somewhere where there is not much access to electricity or charging points. In this scenario, the Sony option leads the Bose headphones because they offer 30 hours of battery life. The Bose option can only provide 20 hours.

Sound Quality

when paying this much money for a pair of headphones, you will have to ensure that they are up to standard in terms of the excellent quality they offer when listening to music. Regarding the Bose, option outperforms the Sony option because of the surround sound digital bass it can offer.

Durability

In this area, the Bose option is much better because it is made from lightweight stainless steel. You can expect that this option will be able to bend much easier before it breaks. Therefore, it is a better option to consider someone looking for something that can operate in a harsher environment.

What could be better?

Bose 700

The manufacturers could have improved the charging time on this product. Given that it has a lower amount of battery than its competitor and takes a bit longer to charge, it makes it more disadvantageous for the consumer.

Song WH1000

The durability of this product could have been improved. It is made from a high-quality carbon fiber that may not necessarily survive longer than are the headphones. It has been made to be lightly inflexible rather than heavy and durable.

Similar Features

Both features offer a Voice Assistant that can connect you directly to Alexa for more information and music. Touch controls power both products. You will also be receiving noise-canceling features on both these products.

Key Differences

The main difference between these two products is the durability and battery life. The Sony option offers 30 hours of battery life, while the Bose option can only offer 20. The Bose is more durable but slightly heavier than the Sony option as it is built from stainless steel

The Verdict

To conclude this, if you are looking for an option that can last you longer and is lighter, you should buy the Sony product.

This is a great option to consider for athletes and people who mostly stay on the go. This is because people like this often do not have the time to charge their headphones but enjoy their alone time listening to music. The option is not as durable as it is competitive, but it is superior in design.

If you are looking for something that is more durable and will be used in a more stable setting, you should buy the Bose option because it has a more durable fit and can only offer the consumer 20 hours of battery life.

Sennheiser ie800s vs Shure se846: Which is better? https://sonic-elevation.com/sennheiser-ie800s-vs-shure-se846/ https://sonic-elevation.com/sennheiser-ie800s-vs-shure-se846/#respond Sat, 27 Feb 2021 20:10:00 +0000 https://sonic-elevation.com/?p=13468 As a live performer, there are a million things that can go wrong with the sound. The best way to avoid any errors and provide a flawless performance is to ensure that you have reliable and effective technology. Today we are going to make a comparison of the Sennheiser IE 800 S and the Shure se846 earphones.

These are not really just ordinary earphones, and I think just taking one look at the price tag, you will see that for yourself. These are high-end stage earphones designed to perform at high levels, even in aggressive music environments such as concerts.

Some people call them earbuds whilst others call them in-ear monitors. In-ear monitors are more suitable because these are very powerful earphones, not regular ones. They offer superior sound clarity that can challenge even the most expensive of headphones.

People who buy these are looking for a precise and direct rendition of the music they are listening to. Noise reduction is also an important feature which will determine what headphone one should buy.

We shall be comparing all these features of the Sennheiser IE 800 vs Shure SE846 to make a more informed decision. In the end, I will provide you with a conclusion that contains in it my personal recommendation for which headphones you should purchase based on your current situation. Shall we begin?

Sennheiser ie800s

Specs:

  • 16 ohms impedance
  • 5 to 46,500 Hz Frequency Response.

This is one of the newest additions to the earphones market produced by Sennheiser. It has quickly taken up space in the market because of the high-quality features compared to its rivals.

The ie800s has been made with the industry average 7-millimeter transducers, which combine well with the Chrome dual chamber. In terms of what you can get for this price, the manufacturer has done well to offer the consumer good value for money.

It has a dual-chamber absorption system (D2CA), which mask low volume components with louder one in the lower frequency range. The Sennheiser i.e., 800 S headphones, excel in the delivery of bass and treble.

These earbuds were designed with extra wideband drivers. The benefit of this is an improved feel of the music. The extra-wide band can produce concert effects.

This means that concerted pressure will be applied to your eardrums such that you feel you are at a music gig. An important feature of many earbuds is how comfortable they feel in your ear.

Fit is essential because apart from general usage, a good fit can come in handy if you wish to avoid losing an earbud. Some people often forget and do not realize that the earbud is pulling out long ago.

The technology used on these headphones will ensure that they comfortably slide in the era and stay there. This is based on the use of comply foam ear tips, which serve as memory foam for the earbuds.

This is quite an advantage because, over time, the earbuds will not lose their shape and texture. Looking at durability, the product is scratch resistant because the manufacturers have added a ceramic exterior.

The mature finish of the ie800 S will go a long way in protecting these earphones long term. You can rest easy knowing that the product will not break for a while.

Besides the 3.5 mm jack, the Sennheiser IE 800 S comes with a choice of cables with 4.4 mm Pentaconn and 2.5 mm balanced connectors. They have an impedance range of 16 ohms. The frequency response of 5 to 46,500 Hz helps.

Pros

  • Scratch-resistant ceramic housing
  • Extra-wide band drivers for a concert feel.
  • Comply foam ear tips for a consistent earbud structure.
  • The Sennheiser IE S has a detachable cable system.

Cons

  • Sound isolation is not as good.

Shure se846

The SE846 high end set of headphones is a refreshing take by the manufacturer Shure on an in-ear monitor. The Shure Se846 has also been made for professionals, but they have also tried to add some life.

The dynamic driver used on the Se846 is custom engineered. An output of balanced, warm audio is courtesy of a customizable sound signature. Shure has allowed for adjustable frequency response in these.

You can get your SE846 in one of several different colors, such as gold, black, and even a transparent option.

Shure Se846 has been built with quad drivers that work hard to ensure you receive an immaculate and precise sound on your end. You will most definitely enjoy the low pass filter design, which is a master of bass. You no longer must shy away from music that is too hard in terms of the base because your earbuds cannot handle it.

These earbuds have been specifically designed to neutralize heavy sound without taking away its emphasis. The manufacturers have included a sound-isolating design in the mechanics of the Shure Se846. This piece of innovative technology will allow you to be in two worlds at once. This means that you will be able to hear your surroundings if necessary.

Shure Se846 works through bone conduction technology, which will allow you to appreciate general themes in your auditory surroundings. It can do this while maintaining a clear and definite audio sound.

In terms of fitting the se846 in, the manufacturer has provided you with several different sleeves, which will come in handy for people with different ear sizes.

You can expect over 8 hours of battery life with the Shure Se846, which is neither impressive nor disappointing. You will be able to connect to any device that offers Bluetooth facilities with the Shure Se846.

They have made it with the latest Bluetooth 5.0 technology that works to guarantee a consistent sound. You will not have to experience breaks or cut-offs in the sound as you listen. In conclusion, it is a compelling product that has checked every box you can draw for it.

The package comes with several cables to allows for connection to Android and iOS devices. These include a Bluetooth 5 communication cable, a Universal 3.5 mm communication cable, and standard 3.5 mm audio.

Pros

  • Shure Se846 comes with a sound isolation design that allows you to appreciate your surroundings whilst listening to music.
  • You will get several custom sleeves to help you find the best fit for your ears.
  • Shure Se846 comes in a range of exciting colors.
  • It has a detachable cable.

Cons

  • The Shure Se846 only comes with eight hours of listening time on the battery.

Favourite Features

EAR FIT

In terms of how the earbuds fit in your ear, the Sennheiser’s option has the advantage. Comfort is almost essential when dealing with earbuds. It is even more important when dealing with earbuds that people performing live shows will be making use of.

There is no way you can provide a world-class performance if the technology in your ear is not comfortable. Sennheiser offers a product that makes use of Comply memory foam. This is a highly adaptable material that will continue to reset itself after every use. The Shure Se846 only provides you with several different earbud sleeves.

SOUND QUALITY

The sound quality of these products should be the main priority. There is no way you can pay so much money for a headphone that fails to perform at the highest standard. These are high-quality products, but if you were going to pick a winner, I would say the Sennheiser option slightly stands out.

The product comes with an extra-wide bass driver that can handle the deepest and darkest of sounds. It also comes with a sound isolating feature, which will ensure you remain in touch with your audience.

BATTERY LIFE

The Sennheiser ie800 S can offer you up to 12 hours of battery life. In comparison, the Shure Se846 can only provide 8 hours.

What could be better?

Sennheiser ie800s

The Sennheiser ie, 800 s Sound isolation technology, would have improved this product’s range of uses.

Shure se846

If Shure Se846 had used memory foam, it would have improved the durability of this product in the long term.

Similar Features

These products have both been designed with quad drivers to handle heavy bass.

Key Differences

The main difference between the Shure Se846 and the Sennheiser IE 800S is the colors they can come in. The sound isolation technology and the way they fit in your ears.

The Verdict

In conclusion, the more professional, better option that you can buy is the Sennheiser IE 800 S. If you happen to have extra money available to you and would like the best option, money can buy now this is what she should go for.

The Sennheiser IE 800 S has superior extra comprehensive band drivers for a more fulfilling sound experience. It offers a 12-hour battery life, which is impressive. It comes with memory foam, meaning the earbuds’ structure will remain intact for an extended period of time.  It will allow you to perform on stage and feel like someone in the audience at the same time.

If you are looking for a more down to earth and cheaper option, I would recommend the Shure product. This product offers great sound isolation, exceptional handling of bass, and several different earbuds leave to fit your ear’s size. It is more affordable and will not let you down drastically than the first-choice option in this list.

Both headphones have great specs that make them right for a new set. Which one do you like?

Audio Technica ATH DSR7BT vs DSR9BT https://sonic-elevation.com/audio-technica-ath-dsr7bt-vs-dsr9bt/ https://sonic-elevation.com/audio-technica-ath-dsr7bt-vs-dsr9bt/#respond Thu, 25 Feb 2021 18:43:00 +0000 https://sonic-elevation.com/?p=13369 The world of wireless headphones has been having a debate over which of these two headphones are the better option for someone looking for audiophile quality headphones.

They are made by the same manufacturer Audio Technica and both boast powerful capabilities in terms of sound production. The DSR7 model is the original product that the company manufactured in this range.

They later then introduced the DSR9 which has now become their flagship product in this catalog. It has left consumers at a bit of a crossroads in terms of what to buy. Many people have failed to comprehend the real difference and feel that the headphones offer more of the same.

In this article, we are going to be discussing both products looking at their pros and cons. We shall also discuss the features that they share as well as the main differences between them. In the end, I shall provide you a recommendation on the situation in which it is appropriate to purchase either.

Let us begin.

Audio Technica Dsr7

This product is one of the first in the wireless headphone market to come with an exclusive pure digital drive system. What this does is ensures that the signal is separated from the digital source meaning that there is no transposition, and the sound is Immaculate.

Audio Technica has built this product with an acoustic resistor that works to ensure that all the air that is in the headphones moving around is well controlled.

This works to provide a much-needed neutral sound, especially when dealing with music that has not been mastered yet. This kind of music is often rough around the edges and not at a consistent volume.

It is quite a practical product that allows the user to control their volume easily using the Bluetooth device that is transmitting the sound for them. This allows you to easily change music on the go making it a practical application for sporting activities such as jogging or cycling.

There is a bobbin wound voice coil that is great but delivering high-quality sound through the microphone. In terms of battery life, this is an excellent product. It boasts over 15 hours of continuous use on a full charge.

This means that you do not have to worry about continuously charging this product everywhere you go. The product will also not lose battery on its own should you not use it because it has been built with a standby time of 1000 hours. It is quite an impressive pair of headphones.

Pros

  • 15 Hour battery life
  • Acoustic resistor for neutral and controlled sound
  • Bobbin wound voice coil for high quality microphone recording.

Cons

  • No memory foam on earpads

Audio Technica Dsr9

This product is the supposed replacement for the DSR7. it is lighter, sleeker, and apparently more powerful. With this product Audio Technica we are looking to provide their users with a more well-rounded product than the original was.

They have made this product with the Dnote chipset. This piece of technology is a form of artificial intelligence that works to control the digital signals directly meaning that they do not interfere with any of the transmissions coming into the headphones.

This means that you are unlikely to experience any disturbance from signals in the area whilst you are listening to audio from your Bluetooth transmitter.

These are very high-quality headphones and have been built with 45-millimeter true motion drivers. The audio reproduction on this product is therefore much higher than any of the other standard headphones you can get on the market today.

It is one of the only products that can offer users almost Universal compatibility. The product also has the latest Bluetooth technology allowing it to perform near field communication abbreviated NFC.

This means that anybody close by can tune into the music you are playing making this product useful for group runs. This product also has a battery life of about 15 hours continuous and 1000 hours on standby. to add a little more flair to this product consumers will also get a hard carrying case to protect their headphones when not in use.

Pros

  • 15 Hours of continuous use
  • NFC Bluetooth communication
  • Universal compatibility

Cons

  • Relatively expensive

Favourite Features

  1. Splash Proof
  2. Bluetooth Technology
  3. Battery Life

Splash Proof

Unfortunately, both products are not splashproof. I would have assumed that Audio-Technica would have considered this feature to be important given the fact that people would want to use these headphones for sporting activities. Meaning that it is not a good product to take if you wish to have a jog in the rain.

Bluetooth Technology

The DSR 7 has standard 4.0 Bluetooth technology. This means that it can connect to pretty much any device that can offer Bluetooth transmission of audio.

The DSR 9 comes with near-field communication technology which is a more innovative version of Bluetooth 4.0. The connection is more secure and can be done over a much longer distance.

Battery Life

Both products come with a standardized 15 hours of continuous playback. It will take you about four hours to get a full charge and this will look to last you most of the whole day.

What could be better?

Dsr7

They could have included memory foam in the earpads to make their natural shape last longer. This would improve sound isolation.

Dsr9

This product should be made waterproof to allow users to take them with them wherever they need to.

Similar Features

They both have a 45MM True Motion Driver that provides clarity of vocals.

Key Differences

The DSR9 has a charging time of 4 hours vs 5 hours for the DSR7.

Conclusion

In conclusion I recommend someone to buy the DSR 9 if they live a more active lifestyle and would like to use the headphones for more than just sound production.

If you live on the go and want to also listen to music on the bus these headphones are quite powerful, deliver great battery, and are very light. They also come with a carrying case. If you want to use these in the studio or at home on the laptop then I would recommend you buy the original DSR7 headphones.

Sony MDR 1 am2 vs Audio Technica ATH MSR7 https://sonic-elevation.com/sony-mdr-1-am2-vs-audio-technica-ath-msr7/ https://sonic-elevation.com/sony-mdr-1-am2-vs-audio-technica-ath-msr7/#respond Tue, 23 Feb 2021 18:09:00 +0000 https://sonic-elevation.com/?p=13347 Today we shall be comparing these two different earphone brands to provide you with more information to purchase for yourself. Sony MDR 1 am2 vs Audio Technica ATH MSR7, which one is better? Choosing between headphones that cost this much is never easy. You always wonder in the back of your mind if you made the right decision.

This is made even harder by the fact that so many headphone manufacturers are providing very high-quality headphones.

Therefore, we shall look at what these two products have in common and what is different about them. To conclude, we shall look at why one consumer would buy a product over another.

Sony MDR 1am2

A blissful pair of studio-quality headphones allow you to enjoy crispy music as you would like to. You can expect to hear intense and high notes with these headphones because they come with over 100KHz of the frequency range.

This means you can sound out all the notes quite easily when you use these. They come with Sony’s latest sound driver that is coated in aluminum liquid crystal polymer.

This driver ensures that the headphones can provide a distinct and clear sound to the consumer. They are also very lightweight as compared to other headphones in this range. They were designed with Fibonacci-patterned grills, which reduce any dampening of sound.

This means that the highest of notes will not be painful to hear. Rather they will come out neutrally. The cable is quite durable, being made with 4.4m balanced connection cables. These ensure that there is unlikely to be a break in sound. Nothing more annoying than one side going down.

Pros

  • 100KHz of frequency range
  • Lightweight headphones
  • High quality neutral sound

Cons

  • No memory foam in ear cushions

Audio-Technica ATH-MSR7BK

Audio Technica has offered their customers something unique with this product. It comes with high-resolution audio that allows you to hear the true sound of music.

These headphones come with a true motion driver that is 45mm. This is the only pair of headphones that they produce that comes with the 45mm feature. This works well to provide a rich and quality sound for the consumer.

The damping technology they have included is very good when it comes to sound dampening. This technology will get you the best results within the mid – low-frequency range. It is not as good as the other pair that can do low – to – high.

The structure of the product is made from a combination of aluminum and magnesium. This means that it is a lightweight product with good resilience levels. The design is quite flexible, meaning you can fold the headphones if need be. This makes them more portable than other headphones in this range.

Pros

  • High resolution audio
  • Multi-layered audio damping technology
  • 45mm true motion drivers

Cons

  • No carrying case.

Favourite Features

The best features of these products are.

  1. The sound quality
  2. The ear cushions.
  3. Frequency range

Frames

When we compare these two frames, there is an obvious winner. The Sony headphones come with a potent driver. This driver is made from liquid crystal polymer and aluminum.

This works to provide the consumer with a very crisp and clear sound. It also means that the headphones are much lighter. The Audio – Technica headphones also have a high quality 45mm True Motion Driver. It is not as responsive as the former, but it is not far behind either.

Comfort

Looking at the two different products, the Audio-Technica’s are much more comfortable to use over long periods of time. These headphones come with memory foam and return to their normal shape once you are done using them.

This is a good feature because it impacts the headphones’ ability to isolate the sound you are hearing. With the Sony headphones, over time, you may begin to experience decreased sound isolation. This means that in the long run, these earphones are more durable.

Frequency Range

The frequency range of these products is important for sound producers. It allows them to hear the highest and deepest sounds better. In this category, the Sony option stands out as it has a 100KHz frequency limit.

Meaning it can support the highest sounds as well as the lowest. With the Audio-Technica product, you can only expect to hear sounds between the mid and low-frequency ranges.

What could be better?

Sony MDR-1AM2

In my opinion, these headphones could have done better by including memory foam in their cushions. It is quite an overlooked aspect of making headphones, but overtime, the cushions lose their form.

They begin to look soggy and flat when they do not have memory foam. This also helps ease the tension that the cushion will be putting on the user’s ears.

Audio – Technica ATH-MSR7

For the price that the manufacturer is charging for this product, it really should be able to handle high-frequency sounds. Rather it has been made tailored for the deeper bass and mid-level range sounds.

Therefore, someone who listens to high pitch sounds like opera will struggle with these headphones. This reduces the quality of sound quite substantially.

Similar Features

These products have the same aluminum coating around the sound drivers that will ensure the products are lightweight and durable.

Key Differences

The main difference between these products is their ability to handle different frequencies. The Sony product can handle sounds at all levels very well. The Audio – Technica product can only handle mid to low level sounds.

Conclusion

In conclusion, both products are high-quality studio headphones. They differ in price and frequency quality but are very similar in durability and interior design.

I would recommend the Sony product for a music producer who deals with singers that need to reach high pitches as they sing. This is because it can handle these levels. I would recommend the Audio-Technica headphones if you want to listen to high-quality music on the go. They are the more portable product between the two.

Sony MDR Z7 vs Sony MDR Z7M2: Which is the Better Audiophile Option? https://sonic-elevation.com/sony-mdr-z7-vs-sony-mdr-z7m2-which-is-the-better-audiophile-option/ https://sonic-elevation.com/sony-mdr-z7-vs-sony-mdr-z7m2-which-is-the-better-audiophile-option/#respond Sun, 21 Feb 2021 17:55:00 +0000 https://sonic-elevation.com/?p=13367 Here we have two of Sony’s premium audiophile headsets. The Sony MDR-Z7M2 is the new and improved version of Sony’s existing Z7. Sony have made a name for themselves when it comes to making such powerful headphones.

Today we shall be examining these two headphones to determine which is the better product and if the amount that they charge for it is justified. Given that headphones are important to people in the music industry you should not waste your budget on something that does not provide value for money.

Sony MDR Z7

This is the original or first-born child of Sony’s audiophilia range. It comes with wide soundstage reproduction up to 100 KHZ. this helps to empower the 70-millimeter driver units that help with audio articulation.

This means that you will be getting a much more crisp and precise sound from these over-ear headphones. It also comes with a 4- 4-conductor cable meaning that you will have a much more durable lifespan on these headphones.

It also provides for better conduction of signal from the device playing music. Ted ergonomic ear pads made from 3D sewing. This provides you with a very comfortable feel even when using them for long periods of time which is not often the case with headphones.

The OFC cable is coated in silver which means that you will not often deal with misplaced signals. You will also have improved bass and transient response.

The headphones come with a frame that feels like it hugs your head. This design has silent joints that worked to provide an isolated sound experience. Originally made in Japan they come with an inward access structure that only enhances the experience.

Pros

  • Quality four conductor cable improved signal separation
  • ergonomic ear pads to ease ear tension.
  • OFC silver coated cable for less signal loss

Cons

  • Not sweat resistant

Sony MDR Z7M2

Now here we have Sony’s latest challenger in the headphones market. This product comes in all black and as high-resolution audio that is guaranteed by Sony to provide you with a crisp and clear sound.

It comes with a very wide frequency range that competes with top-level headphones in this category. That range is between 4 to 100,000Hz.

Like its predecessor this product comes with a 70-millimeter driver unit that works to provide a stable sound meaning that you are unlikely to hurt your ears if a very high pitch sound comes on or a very deep bass comes on.

Sony has worked hard to ensure that you can handle very powerful sounds through these headphones. It comes with a 4.4 balance standard plug meaning that you can fit it in on most devices making it universally accessible.

The earpads are ergonomically made and come with memory foam. Memory foam helps headphones to return to their natural state even after a long period of usage. This helps with the longevity of their headphone’s sound isolation properties.

It comes with a 225% bigger neodymium magnet. This means that you get almost double the clarity of sound that you have on the previous model. This product is more powerful than its predecessor but is it worth the extra charge?

Pros

  • 225% bigger neodymium magnet for improved clarity of sound
  • Ergonomically made memory foam earpads
  • 4.4 Balance standard plug

Cons

  • Not splashproof

Favourite Features

  1. Quality of sound
  2. Earpad designs
  3. Frequency range

Quality Of Sound

In this scenario Sony’s latest product takes the win. It comes with a 225% bigger neodymium magnet which works to provide the same amount of sound improvement on its predecessor.

The science behind this is that when a sound is too high in pitch the signal resolution Cannot be easily processed by a smaller magnet. The magnet will try to suppress the sound to allow it to reach your earphones safely. Otherwise, there is a chance it could hurt your ears.

Therefore, a much bigger magnet allows for the signal to be handled easier and translated to your ears without you realizing how high the signal really is.

Earpad Designs

In this category the new headphones have the better earpads. This is because these headphones come with memory foam Indian which means that they will normally return to the original state.

Not only does this make the headphones look better for a longer time. it makes them manage the sound isolation better. When sound isolation is better managed for a longer period then you will not feel like you need to press your earphones closer to your head to hear the sound better.

Both earphones are economically made meaning the design feels natural around the head. They are quite similar in this regard meaning the only difference would be the memory foam added to the new headphones.

Frequency Range

the last feature we shall be discussing is the frequency range on both products. This is the same. Sony has made both headphones capable of handling frequencies between 4 and 100,000 Hz. in any regard, these are very capable headphones.

Not many headphones on the market today can handle such intense frequencies ranging from the low to the high. You will no doubt be satisfied with both products if this is what you are worried about.

What could be better?

Sony MDR-Z7

They could have improved this product by making it sweat resistant or splashproof. seeing as people making music tend to perform and they get animated it is normal for people to sweat. You would expect that Sony would have taken this into consideration and made their headphones sweatproof.

Sony – MDR-Z7M2

Seeing as this is the new and improved model, I would have expected Sony to introduce passive noise reduction to this model as well. This model does not have as good sound isolation or noise reduction as its predecessor. This could be since it is lighter or because the sound is too powerful.

Similar Features

these products are quite similar in the levels of sound pressure that they can handle both are between 98 decibels to 102.

Key Differences

The main difference that we can see here between these two products apart from the price is that one has focused more on sound whereas the other has focused more on ergonomics.

By this I mean that the older model is more robust and takes the shape of the traditional headphones. The latest model is more focused on providing better sound and making use of the latest technology.

Conclusion

for these two products I would recommend the first one being the oldest product to someone who wants something simple and durable that can deliver. It is cheaper by quite some margin and provides similar levels of performance.

If you are working in a studio, I would recommend this for you. I would recommend the second product to someone who is more dynamic with the music that they listen to or make.

In this I mean if you make music on the bus or undergo you could make use of these headphones better because they are lighter and more ergonomic. I think they are beautiful for people on the go.

Audio Technica ATH CKR7TW vs Sennheiser Momentum https://sonic-elevation.com/audio-technica-ath-ckr7tw-vs-sennheiser-momentum/ https://sonic-elevation.com/audio-technica-ath-ckr7tw-vs-sennheiser-momentum/#respond Sun, 21 Feb 2021 17:52:00 +0000 https://sonic-elevation.com/?p=13363 Bluetooth wireless earbuds have become very popular among consumers. Many of the high-quality brands have taken up the challenge to provide their customers with a pair that works to their liking. Audio Technica ATH CKR7TW vs Sennheiser Momentum is an interesting comparison.

The best that you can buy in this range of products is not cheap in the slightest. Therefore, choosing the right option is very important to avoid ending up with a product you do not enjoy. In this article, we look to compare two of the top tier Bluetooth earbuds that one can buy in the market now.

We shall be comparing their features presenting to you the ones we like and dislike between the two. In this, we shall highlight similarities between the two as well as the differences. We shall conclude by discussing which we feel is best for a particular scenario.

Audio Technica ATH CKR7TW

The ATH CKR7TW here has a high-quality headphone amplifier. This means you can expect that the product will deliver a crisp, clear, and well-rounded sound from the signal it receives. With these earbuds, you should be able to play music or listen to sounds from any device that can transmit a Bluetooth signal.

The earbuds come with a built-in microphone which is quite impressive given they are very small. You can use this to control the volume as well as answer any calls that you may get. It has 11mm drivers that have been coated with carbon and iron yokes.

This works to provide you with excellent sound quality when you listen. You can expect to use these for 6 hours continuously before you must recharge them. If you are willing to purchase the power bank, then you will be able to use the product for an additional 3 hours without having to charge it which is quite impressive.

Pros

  • 11mm exclusive driver for high quality sound
  • Built in microphone to control volume and calls.
  • 6 hours of continuous playback

Cons

  • Only good for music

Sennheiser Momentum

Sennheiser is well known for producing the best earbuds on the market. They have been around for many years and can reliably offer their customers products that go over and beyond.

These earbuds come with the manufacturer’s true wireless technology. This means that you can play music from any device that has Bluetooth. To control this device there is a touchpad on the side of the earphones.

This is quite cool and offers the users something different and more innovative. With this touchpad, you can also receive calls and access your voice assistant if you have one on your device.

They make use of bone-conducting technology. This means that even while listening to your music you can remain aware of anything in your immediate surroundings.

This is very good for people who cycle or jog because it can help save their life in case, they fail to notice a car coming. With this product, you can 4 hours of listening time which is not the best but still not bad. If you decide to get the charging case, then you can bump those 4 hours up to 12.

This is a bit disappointing because it feels like they are trying to sell you the case as a must-have. For durability purposes, they have made this product splash proof making them okay to use in the rain.

Pros

  • Touchpad to control music, calls and voice assistant.
  • Bone conduction technology
  • Splash proof

Cons

  • Only 4 hours listening time.

Favourite Features

The best features of these products are.

  1.  Battery life
  2. Control features

Battery Life

When comparing the two-products battery life the Audio-Technica outperforms the Sennheiser. It offers the user a continuous battery uses of 6 hours. That is quite impressive. If you are willing to buy the portable power bank for the earphones, then you can use the earbuds for up to 9 hours.

I think this is better than the Sennheiser option which only provides 4 hours. This triples to 12 hours if you are willing to buy the power bank which feels unfair for the customer who is already paying so much money for the earbuds.

Control Features

In terms of how to control the music, you are playing the Sennheiser has offered its customers a touchpad on the side of their earbuds. This is more durable than the standard button that is provided on the Audio-Technica earbuds.

Seeing as these earbuds can be used while performing sporting activities such as cycling then a quick method to change music is more efficient and much safer.

What could be better?

Audio Technica ATH CKR7TW

With this product, I believe that they could have improved their audio latency. It does not provide as heavy a bass as the Sennheiser can. This is obviously not a game-changer but for people who know their music, it can affect them.

Sennheiser momentum

Without a doubt on this product, they could have improved the battery life. For people who live an active lifestyle that involves listening to music all day 4 hours will not be enough. It means that the person will have to have access to charging ports everywhere they go which is unlikely.

Similar Features

These products both have the same 11mm exclusive drivers. These can provide high quality audio for the user without much difference.

Key Differences

The main difference between these two products is that the Sennheiser will provide you will 4 hours battery and the Audio – Technica will prove 6 hours.

Conclusion

In conclusion, these are both very high-quality Bluetooth earbuds. They offer their customers a similar audio experience. I would recommend Audio Technica for customers who want to use these for active training.

If you are out on the field exercising you will not have access to a charging port. If you are looking for earbuds to use in the office, then I would recommend the Sennheiser. The battery is less but you can always keep it charged in the office. They also have bone-conducting tech that will allow you to hear if a workmate is knocking on the door.

Westone Bluetooth V2 vs Shure BT2 https://sonic-elevation.com/westone-bluetooth-v2-vs-shure-bt2/ https://sonic-elevation.com/westone-bluetooth-v2-vs-shure-bt2/#respond Sat, 20 Feb 2021 18:50:00 +0000 https://sonic-elevation.com/?p=13373 Many companies that produce in ear monitors today have begun to also add some companionship for those products to their catalog. These come in the way of Bluetooth in ear monitor connector cables.

These are Bluetooth cables that work to enhance and amplify the sound that is being transmitted from the Bluetooth device. They have become a real hype in the modern world today due to people noticing that they can upgrade seemingly ordinary in-ear microphones’ to total moving sound systems.

This has led to the debate which we are going to try and answer today between which is the best in-ear Bluetooth connector cable that you can buy today. We shall begin by describing both products in-depth as they are two of the stronger contenders in this market.

After that, we shall consider the advantages and disadvantages of both. Followed by an explanation of the features that they share as well as an explanation of the ones they do not. In the end, we shall look to provide recommendations on what scenario would work for what product.

Westone V2

This is a very high-quality pair of in-ear monitor connectors. The product comes with the latest Bluetooth technology. Bluetooth 5.0 comes compatible with Qualcomm APTX HD audio.

When looking at a Bluetooth device’s ability to maintain a clear and continuous sound this is the best technology you can get on the market today. The product comes with an MMCX connector.

This works as the exclusive audio connector for the in-ear monitors. This means that you will not face the common troubles other devices provide their users such as not being able to connect to a visible Bluetooth device.

With this you can save yourself time and effort. It has a very practical battery life of 12 hours. This usage can be continuous meaning you do not have to stop and charge for any of the 12 hours if your battery was previously full.

This is quite impressive compared to its competitors in the same range. If you need to work in your backyard then you can do so without a Bluetooth device on your person because the range is over 10 meters.

This product has been designed to be effective for people working out and practical as well. This product is sweat, water, and dust resistant. you do not need to worry if while you are on a jog it starts to rain. Given the price of the product and the capabilities of it is a strong contender in this market.

Pros

  • Bluetooth 5.0 technology
  • 12 Hour battery life
  • Swear/water/dust resistant.

Cons

  • Can only connect to one device at a time.

Shure BT2

The manufacturers of this product have worked hard to ensure that it is of premium quality. This cable connector works as a dedicated amplifier meaning that all the music you listen two through these cables sounds two or three times better than without.

That is the simple version. They have been designed with a very good amount of compatibility. All the major codecs are supported here from Qualcomm apt right up to AAC and SBC. This product has been designed with Bluetooth 5.0 wireless technology. This is to ensure that it can work with any Bluetooth device.

They lead the way in terms of integration as this product is also backwards integratable. With this product you would only be getting 10 hours of continuous use from the battery. If you charge this connector cable and put them away for two weeks you should come back to find them still having battery.

The standby time on this product is up to 350 hours which is quite impressive. You will be able to use any Shure detachable headphones with this product.  If you do not have Shure products, then you may not want to consider this option. it delivers slightly less than its main competitor although it is also priced accordingly.

Pros

  • Bluetooth 5.0 technology
  • 10 hours of battery life
  • multi compatibility

Cons

  • Heavy

Favourite Features

  1. Weather resistance
  2. Bluetooth technology
  3. Battery life

Weather Resistance

In this category West one has got the better product. This product is both sweat, water and dust resistant meaning that it can take on physical challenges with ease. The product from sure is not weather resistant which limits the practical applications in which it can be used.

Bluetooth Technology

Both products come with Bluetooth 5.0. This is the best technology on the market now and will provide you with very clear and powerful Bluetooth signal. It will prevent any unwanted interruptions from taking you out of the Music Zone.

Battery Life

In this category The West one product has the upper hand. It boasts battery life of up to 12 hours continuous play. This is very impressive compared to what the Shure cable can do. this product can only do up to 10 hours.

It is an even worse sadistic when you realize that this is only with non-continuous usage. This product is not something many people remember to charge meaning that extended battery life becomes quite an advantage, especially in the beginning.

What could be better?

Westone V2

According to customer reviews this product suffers from inexplicable rhythmic noises as you use it at high volumes. West one has pledged to work on the issue.

What will happen is that other people might be able to hear the music you are listening to quite loudly. I think this could have been improved especially if you can take phone calls through this platform.

Shure BT2

Greater battery life would have been the antidote key to taking this product on par with its most immediate competitors. Some manufacturers in this range can provide their users with up to 15 hours of battery life.

Similar Features

These products both shared Bluetooth 5.0 technology and are universally compatible.

Key Differences

They differ based on how much they weigh, and the quality of materials used because The West one is weatherproof whilst the other is not.

Conclusion

In conclusion if you wish to purchase the West one V2 headphones I would recommend these if you were someone who lives a very active lifestyle. They are not designed necessarily for the office because they amplify sound quite loud to the extent that people around you can hear.

However, they are weatherproof meaning that they would be quite suitable for physical activities. For the second option of the Shure BT2, I would recommend these if you were looking for something to use in the office that is manageable and affordable.

This product is not weatherproof and does not have a great battery life meaning you would have to be close by a charger to continue using the product after power runs out.

Focal Listen Pro vs Spirit Pro: Which is the Better Professional Pick? https://sonic-elevation.com/focal-listen-pro-vs-spirit-pro/ https://sonic-elevation.com/focal-listen-pro-vs-spirit-pro/#respond Wed, 17 Feb 2021 17:42:00 +0000 https://sonic-elevation.com/?p=13360 Music output devices get more sophisticated with each year that passes us by. It can be a bit of a challenge to identify what is best for both your music and your budget.

It is no doubt that in most cases one would think that the most expensive option produces the highest quality. This is not always the case as products these days offer different values for the price they charge.

In this article, we shall be looking at two fierce competitors of the same brand. We shall compare the Focal Listen Pro with the Focal Spirit Pro. This will be all to help you get to know them better allowing you to make an informed decision on which to purchase.

Focal Listen Pro

These are closed-back cushion headphones that work to offer the user crisp clear sound when listening to different sounds. They have been developed to offer the user a high-quality comfortable listening experience.

They come with soothing memory foam in the earcups that will adjust to the shape of your head releasing any tension.

The product also has a silicone-lined headband meaning that it will not break very easily should you take them off. These are priced in a higher bracket than their competitors, but they also come with very good quality interior sound devices.

The isolation efforts that this product can provide are very good. You will not be able to hear much of the outside world whilst you work. This makes the headphones very good for noisy workspaces.

Pros

  • They come with a durable carrying case.
  • Silicone in the headband prevents the shape from deforming.
  • Less pressure on the ears

Cons

  • Quite heavy

Focal Spirit Pro

A very good product on its own. These wired headphones have been developed from titanium meaning they are one of the most durable you can get. It also might make them slightly heavier than other headphones.

They come with a good level of rigidness and high damping properties. This will work to ensure that when you listen to sounds that come at a high volume then you will not notice any distortion of that sound.

It offers a very clear and neutral sound to the consumer. The acoustics of the headphones is very good meaning that if any note or sound is off in your music then you will be able to easily pick this up.

They come with normal cushioning that does a good job isolating the outside world from the sound you are hearing. This is important for people who are playing music for loud crowds i.e., a Dj.

Pros

  • Good isolation of sound
  • No distortion
  • Durable titanium frame

Cons

  • Low quality cushions

Favourite Features

  1. Frame material
  2. Cushions
  3. Sound Isolation

Frame Material

With the Focal Listen Pro, the frame of the product is made from hardened plastic with a silicone line running through them. This makes the headphones able to bend more meaning they will not break as easily.

However, in this case, the stronger frame is the second option, the Spirit Pro, you will be getting a titanium frame. This is a much more durable frame and is not likely to lose its shape even after rough use. It also means that these headphones are much heavier than their counterparts making them less portable.

Cushions

Looking at the cushions of both products the Listen Pro has the distinct advantage here. The manufacturer has invested money to put in memory foam in the cushions. This makes the headphone cushions much softer. It also means that even after heavy use the cushions will return to their normal shape.

This is good for people who work in a studio where more than one person may need to use these headphones. The Spirit Pro option only comes with regular cushions. These are not very good at reducing pressure on the ears. Increased pressure during use can result in headaches or ear pain.

Sound Isolation

Sound isolation is crucial for headphones because it allows people to concentrate. With these two options the Listen Pro is further ahead than the Spirit Pro.

The memory foam used to make the former is important for isolation because it ensures there is no gaps for outside interference to creep into your ears. You will be quite protected if you are working in a noisy space.

What could be better?

Focal Listen Pro

With the Focus Listen Pro the frame of the headphones is not as durable as you would hope them to be for the price that they charge. You will find that they are more likely to break if they accidentally drop.

Focal Spirit Pro

With these headphones they were a tad stingy when creating the cushions of the product which are quite important. The overall quality of the product is affected by how comfortable one feels when using the product for a long time.

Similar Features

The products are quite similar in the quality of sound they can produce. Both are quite effective at delivering a crisp and well-defined sound. You will be unlikely to notice any distortion with both these products.

Key Differences

The main difference between these products is the price, cushions, and frame. The Listen Pro is the most expensive, has memory foam cushions but has a weaker frame. The Spirit Pro is cheaper, has standard cushions but a stronger frame.

Conclusion

The simple truth is that the Spirit Pro is a cheaper and heavier version of the Listen Pro. If you need to buy headphones that will provide high quality sound but do not cost that much, then this is a good option for you.

If rather you have a high budget and are looking for the best that money can get you then you can consider the Listen Pro.

This option offers great isolation and cushioning for your ears. If you need to spend hours working on something, then these will be the most comfortable option that you can get between the two.

Bose L1 vs the JBL Eon One https://sonic-elevation.com/bose-l1-vs-the-jbl-eon-one/ https://sonic-elevation.com/bose-l1-vs-the-jbl-eon-one/#respond Wed, 17 Feb 2021 17:24:00 +0000 https://sonic-elevation.com/?p=13384 The traditional microphone and speaker setup have been looked at differently by the companies that manufacture musical speakers. These companies have looked to find out how to reinvent how traditional PA systems work.

Bose and JBL have been two companies at the forefront of this production and have come out with what they call spatial dispersion systems. Bose has the L1 and JBL has the Eon One.

Both products are high-quality music speakers that accept input from various musical instruments and microphones. We shall now look at which is the better option between the two based on your circumstances.

Bose L1

The Bose L1 is a high-quality Spatial dispersion device. it comes with the two-tone match channel that allows a microphone and acoustic guitar to both submit signals at the same time.

This product is excellent for stages where musicians will be performing in numbers. They could possibly be performing duets combining instruments and microphones.  The two-tone match channel works to ensure that both the input audio from the two sources maintained its original tone.

This means that whatever happens on the other side will not interfere with your side. This is a very important feature for people who perform on stage because these performances are live and there is no time to correct any mistakes.

In terms of sound quality, the product has a very powerful integrated bass speaker that is sure to liven up any crowd within the vicinity. It offers the user to set up positions meaning that you can organize the equipment in a manner that caters to both large and small spaces.

This product is made for live performances. It could also be useful for schools that wish to host talent shows or make announcements at sports events.

Pros

  • Two Setup Positions
  • Two Tone Match channels
  • Integrated bass speaker

Cons

  • Can only accept two inputs.

JBL Eon 1

This is one of the best products in the range of PA systems that you can buy. This product allows the user to input six different audio devices. This makes it perfect for people that are in a band and require multiple microphones or musical instruments.

The product comes with an unobstructed 10-inch bass reflex subwoofer. This means that if you were to host a musical concert in the park people from 30 meters away will be able to feel the power of the base. It is that good. Many people in the music industry will be aware of JBL’s ability to produce high-quality music speakers.

With this product, they have gone above and beyond to make it portable but also powerful. The product breaks up into six different pieces making it very useful when trying to provide surround sound for the people you are playing music for.

This is because you can put each piece in a different area of the stage so to allow everyone to hear the music equally. Obviously, these speakers are very powerful although they cannot cater to huge crowds most certainly, they can get the job done among smaller ones.

The product is made from high-quality fiberglass plastic that ensures it will be durable for quite some time. JBL has also included a rechargeable battery-powered option which comes in the form of the JBL EON 1 PRO.

Pros

  • 10 Inch base subwoofer
  • 6 channel input
  • Versatile set up options.

Cons

  • No microphone

Favourite Features

  1. Set up options.
  2. Base subwoofer
  3. Number of input channels

Set Up Options

When it comes to providing music at an event or gig most stage managers will tell you that their main concern is ensuring that the sound reaches all corners of the stage.

People will be paying money for these shows and based on where they are seated should not determine the quality of music they receive. With the JBL Eon One, you can break up the speaker into six different parts.

This will allow you to put a separate part on each corner of the stage to allow everyone to enjoy the music equally. The Bose option offers you something similar however this one can only break into two parts.

Base Subwoofer

Bass is a very important part of many musical shows. It would be no point to perform with a bass guitar out onstage if people could not hear the bass. many musicians pride themselves in this aspect of the music and therefore invest in music systems that can articulate the bass that resonates through their music.

With this product, the JBL eon one wins again. It comes with an inbuilt 10-inch bass subwoofer. This feature is much more powerful than the integrated bass speaker on the Bose option.

Number Of Input Channels

With this option, the JBL eon one can provide its users with up to six different audio inputs. This means that it has six channels available. Practically, with this, you could connect six different microphones at the same time, and everyone would be able to speak at the same time.

This makes the PA system worth much more for the value it charges. both options can only provide users with two different channel inputs at the same time. This is much lower than its competitor.

What could be better?

Bose L1

I believe that with this product they could have increased the number of channels that users can benefit from. If this is meant to be a product for musical performances, then it will not work if there are more than two people.

JBL Eon 1

The JBL Eon One has a complicated control panel that can only mostly be understood by sound technicians. It would have been better if they had made this more user friendly than they have.

Similar Features

These two products can both handle low to high frequency ranges.

Key Differences

The main difference between these two products is that one can handle 6 channels and the other can only handle 2.

Conclusion

In conclusion, I would recommend someone to buy the Bose L1 if they are planning to make announcements at a function. It would also work if you were a DJ and only require one source of input. I say this because this product can only handle two different audio inputs at a time.
